The Inception of Spectra Group took place in 1981 with the creation of “Reza Construction”, a Sole Proprietorship company formed by Engr Khan Md Aftabuddin. The Firm was later incorporated as a Private Limited Company under the name of Reza Construction Ltd (RCL). In 2011, RCL was re-branded and re-named as Spectra Engineers Ltd.

With the Financial Support of Spectra Engineers Ltd (then known as Reza Construction Ltd.) Spectra International Limited (SIL) was established in 2001. The company started its adventure in the medical industry through its maneuver in the Medical Gas PipeLine (MGPL) system on a Government project.

With the Financial Support of Spectra Engineers Ltd (then known as Reza Construction Ltd.), Spectra Properties Limited (SPL) started its journey in 2005. Over time it has built landmarks of excellence and given customers delight at every touchpoint. By keeping its aptitudes and employing modernity in its primary growth strategy, SPL has driven success for clients.

With the Financial Support of Spectra Engineers Ltd (then known as Reza Construction Ltd.), Spectra Oxygen Limited (SOL) was founded in 2007 and has been in operation since 2009 with remarkable growth in the market. SOL was the very first local manufacturer and supplier of medical gases in both the government and private sectors at that time.

With the Financial Support of Spectra Engineers Ltd (then known as Reza Construction Ltd), Spectra Organics Limited was established in 2008 as a distillery to produce a variety of alcohols. The products which are of international quality are mostly purchased by the pharmaceutical sector and have greatly reduced the country’s dependence on foreign alcohol.

With the Financial Support of Spectra Engineers Ltd from the beginning of the year 2016, a 35MW Ground Mounted Solar Powerplant was successfully commissioned in an area of 140 acres in Manikganj, Bangladesh. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) was achieved at the beginning of 2021, in the midst of the Deadly Coronavirus Pandemic.
